Datura hails from the Golden Lair, an expansive cave system nestled deep in the Sacred Mountains. Like most Sentinels, she was trained from a young age to be a warrior, and is skilled with both the katana and club; the "two fangs" of a Bushi.
Sentinels are beast-men, each resembling a different animal. Datura, being a rabbit, was not blessed from birth with the exceptional strength of her brethren, and has had to deal with this weakness her entire life. Because of this, she has worked and trained exceptionally hard so as not to allow her lack of physical strength to define her. Where she lacks in brute strength she makes up for in speed and skill. She is fiercely loyal, and will defend her friends and allies with her life.
She is stoic and soft-spoken in social situations, preferring to keep her thoughts to herself. It's not that she doesn't have anything to say, but more that she isn't very good at expressing herself, so she keeps her emotions locked up inside. Even when angry, Datura will choose to seethe with a quiet fury rather than act on her anger. When forced out of her comfort zone, she quickly becomes an awkward, stuttering mess.
This changes dramatically, however, in battle. Those bottled-up emotions can only stay suppressed for so long, and when the pressure gets to be too much, she snaps and flies into a berserker rage known as "blood rush." Datura is disciplined enough not to snap in public, however, and can choose to only activate blood rush when fighting a legitimate enemy (like monsters).
